Asuras Wrath

Asuras Wrath is an extravagant anime Quick Time Event that, on the surface, would seem of limited appeal to gamers but Asuras Wrath delivers gamings equivalent of shock and awe. This is a fantastic experience that should not be missed.

An interactive movie in a video game skin...

I really enjoyed Asura's Wrath, but the gameplay is somewhat of a large disappointment. We are supposed to be here to play a game, and the sections that we do get to play are lacklustre at best, and don't add much to the experience, which is a shame.

Great/Unique Game!

If you're a fan of cinematic action, then this is the game for you! This game is unlike anything you've ever played before. Similar to the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm games but still different enough to be call unique.

Review: Asura's Wrath

Asura's Wrath was a game I'd little followed since its announcement as generally I hold little interest in games so intensely ‘Japanese', so when a review copy fell into my lap I ventured into the experience largely blind.

Visual style and sheer delightful absurdity; Bug-free and polished to a shine

Lack of actual gameplay; Priced too highly for the experience it provides

Asura's Wrath

Unfortunately for Asura's Wrath , this is a games magazine and we will therefore be reviewing it as a game. If you are a huge anime fan we recommend you purchase a copy of the excellent publication NEO, where you'll find all the latest news and reviews of wonderful anime and manga products.

Asura's Wrath Review

There's no doubt that the use of QTEs in Asura's Wrath is innovative and unique, but the fact is that it limits control over the protagonist, resulting in many scripted events which offer little challenge. Hence, the title is hard to recommend for its gameplay or replay-value.

Asura's Wrath Review for Xbox 360

As we began playing Asura's Wrath for this review of ours, its implausible imagery, hysterical fighting sequences and a sci-fi yet behind-the-times art sty

Time to Get Angry with Asura's Wrath

There is a board game called Betrayal at House on the Hill. In the game, three to six players move around a haunted house and discover rooms within the house. Symbols on the house tiles determine what kind of action is taken when the tile is laid down.

"Epic action"

This game is action packed. Epic battles and mint soundtrack. Great game!

better than I expected

Despite this game being designed with every no-no gaming reviewers condemn games over, its not that bad. I was execting to hate Asura's Wrath, but I actually liked it. I'm a sucker for a good story and pretty graphics and it has both.

Price; Has an inspired story; Most of the game is gorgeous; Uses familiar and talented voice actors

QTEs galore; There are on-rails shooting bits ala primitive CD FMV games; The actiony beat-em-up bits vs normal enemies are annoying and repetitive; The action boss battles can be aggrivating; The TRUE ending is basically a commercial to buy the DLC (real ending sold seperately!
