A textbook example of an audiovisual tour de force, Asura's Wrath, is a stunning action-packed interactive anime, full of spectacular visuals, incredible spectacle and the kind of imaginative jaw-dropping madness that makes you glad to be a gamer.

" Asura's Wrath " can be frustrating, but some poor gameplay sections apart, the action is compelling, the storytelling excellent, and it adds new life and vitality to the industry by trying something almost completely different. It doesn't always work, but when it does, Capcom will blow you away.
I really enjoyed Asura's Wrath, but the gameplay is somewhat of a large disappointment. We are supposed to be here to play a game, and the sections that we do get to play are lacklustre at best, and don't add much to the experience, which is a shame.
With all the hyperkinetic action and vibrant design of the average action anime, you'd think they'd translate better into gaming. Decades of wonderful series turned into low-budget crap has shown otherwise, but there's always hope that maybe this time, this favorite series will be the one to escape...
Capcom delivers another unique title with Asura's Wrath. A title that includes both Asian mythology and some of that famous Japanese sci-fi we've all come to know and love from the anime that comes out of there. But is it any good?

When Capcom revealed their new IP Asura's Wrath back at the 2010 Tokyo Game Show, everyone assumed they were jumping on the action-adventure bandwagon. Most people, myself included, labeled the game as a God of War-rip-off set in Asian mythology.
