Not my racing simulator The racing simulator sub-genre hasn't been very prevalent on consoles. There are certainly games like Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport , but both of those titles mix racing sim with arcade features that aren't 100% realistic.

Despite its amazing driving simulation, just doesn't get the racing right. Out on track alone it feels amazing; there's no denying the remarkable realism Kunos Simulazioni has captured here.

Graphic wise this game is good. However actual gameplay there is none. Using a controller you cannot drive the cars the front brakes seem to lock up even when you don't use the brakes. Just making a sharp turn makes the brakes lock.

By now simulation fans will be well aware of Assetto Corsa and that it's a simulation racer that's adored by PC gamers around the world. A game from a small studio that came out of nowhere and muscled its way to the front row grid in their efforts to dice the big guns.

Assetto Corsa is a title for which I've been waiting a very long time. After being disappointed by rather lacklustre Project Cars , I simply couldn't wait to put my hands on a true racing simulator.

A brilliant driving game featuring a very exciting selection of cars and interesting and challenging circuits. I play with the Logitech G29 wheel and the game offers great thrills and excitement, giving an impression of what it must feel like to push to the limit and beyond on a race track.

Needs some work. From the onset, the main menu is wonky. Colors are too close in shade. Barry any customizing of settings especially on a wheel.

Originally had it on pc but due to hdd issues purchased on xb1. It is a very unforgiving racer that puts simulation over fun. It is a war of attrition to set up a controller to suit your driving style but once happy you need to build your skill and confidence and that's when the rush of the racing...

so the game is a great sim hands down lots of fun. my point is that when i purchased the game on the xbox store it said local co-op and the online multiplayer. Unfortunately i do not believe there is any local co-op(splitscreen), unless they meant xbox to xbox.

brought this game about two weeks ago and i am very happy with it!
