Assetto Corsa 's biggest problem might be players' expectations. On the PC, KUNOS Simulazioni's game has developed a reputation as the platform's best driving sim – a detailed, authentic racer that makes Forza and Gran Turismo look like Need for Speed .

Not quite grand.

Assetto Corsa has its share of problems. It can't compete with Forza, Gran Turismo or Project Cars when it comes to looks, cars or tracks. The career mode is tedious and often frustrating, and the presentation makes it feel even nerdier and less accessible than it is.

Racing nuts without a proper PC were in for a hard time as Assetto Corsa initially launched, as well received simulation has taken its sweet time arriving on console. Needless to say the news of Kuno Simulazioni and 505 Games bringin the game consoles as well was music to the ears of many console...

Despite its amazing driving simulation, just doesn't get the racing right. Out on track alone it feels amazing; there's no denying the remarkable realism Kunos Simulazioni has captured here.

The best and unbeatable simulator game ever.

A ssetto Corsa is Italian for "Racing Setup". This was a rather surprising realization in that I really thought F1 2016 (which was the other game I received) would be the one that sucked, and Assetto Corsa would be the game that rekindled my love of virtual racing.

The latest contender in the racing simulation genre, Assetto Corsa , manages to deliver consistent and sound racing controls, but everything around it is less than stellar. I compare it to the both excellent and average Gran Turismo 5 as Assetto Corsa plays well but is surrounded by antiquated menus...

Assetto Corsa is a title for which I've been waiting a very long time. After being disappointed by rather lacklustre Project Cars , I simply couldn't wait to put my hands on a true racing simulator.
