Welcome to Paris, welcome to your life as Tears for Fears (and then Lorde) so succinctly put it. Revolution is in the air and it's time for you to take a step up and aid the change for a better world. Everybody wants to rule the world, but nothing ever lasts forever.

Beautifully designed cities l Plenty of variety l New movement l Co-op is pure joy l Intriguing story

Not without its bugs l Makes a joke about Les Miserables l Loading times can be a pain

I think I found some sort of sick pleasure in reading about how broken and buggy the new Assassin's Creed was and kept thinking some really dark thoughts to myself about how I would slate the game in the review.

Assassin's Creed Unity (Xbox One) Review

Since Ubisoft started to annualise the Assassin's Creed franchise, there have been a series of highs and lows. Last year's Black Flag was arguably the most enjoyable entry in the series yet, although it was also by far the least ‘traditional' Assassin's Creed game in the series.

It is a good game, although quality has really suffered due to Ubisoft's milking the cow to death. Thankfully, the game has been patched by now and it is functional. It can now be enjoyed.

Game Review: Assassin's Creed: Unity

It's the late 1700's and the French Revolution is underway, the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. While the rich will do just about anything to stay on top of their lives of luxury, the common folk of Paris will do just about anything in an act of vengeance.

Looks great when not suffering from framerate jitters; Open mission approach; Arno is a charismatic and intriguing new lead; Ubisoft's version of historic Paris is a joy to explore; More character customisation options than ever before; The darkest and bloodiest AC game yet; Playing co-op with...

Full of odd bugs and glitches; Suffers from framerate issues; Corrupt save file; forced me to restart the game from scratch; Clearly not finished upon release

Assassin's Creed Unity Review

This year marks the release of not just one, but two Assassin's Creed games. Unity marks Ubisoft's first foray into next-gen territory, as the game is only available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Assassin's Creed: Unity Review

The Assassin's Creed us fans don't like to talk about...

Unfortunately, this game became infamous because of it's various glitches and bugs at launch, the most known being the one where the character's face disappears and all you see are eyeballs and teeth.

Unity Assassin's Creed

There might be some things about Unity to like for those looking to relive the Ezio Auditore-led days of Assassin's Creed II , but otherwise, it marks a return to a darker time better left behind.

Ridiculously awful

Doesn't even deserve one star. It's crashed after an hour and a half, frozen and won't do anything and I've tried switching profiles, turning it off and on, taking disc out switching off another game and then back etc, console not over heated!
