"A shoutout to the days before games tried to grind coin out of their players"
It's that Ubi time of the year again when we are greeted with the next in line of the Assassin's Creed series and this time the Animus takes us back to Victoria England, more specially its 1886 London, smack bang in the middle of the Industrial Revolution.
Jacob & Evie are one of the most charismatic characters in the entire series; London is wonderfully recreated; Sublime soundtrack; The map is less cluttered then last year's instalment
Still suffers from some odd glitches
Assassin's Creed has become a gaming institution. Over the years it has become one of the heavyweight franchises, but a few recent missteps have had fans wondering if maybe the series had lost its touch.
Ubisoft has released Assassin's Creed Syndicate for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The open world adventure takes gamers on a historical mission through the Industrial Revolution in London during 1868.
Are we at a point with the Assassin's Creed series where fatigue has well and truly set in? Well after the mess that was Assassin's Creed Unity, it seemed that way. Being a yearly franchise just doesn't feel like the right thing, as bugs were rife in the last game and it was an absolute average...
I have played the Assasin's Creed 1,2 brotherhood, revelations , black flag and syndicate. I have just started playing syndicate....and its completely different from the previous parts. Now there are 2 characters to switch.
Been a fan of the earlier AC games and must admit I was a little skeptical about buying syndicate as I have heard some not so great things about Unity ( the game previous to syndicate) but immediately when I started playing the game I was extremely happy that I got this game at such a great price...
It's almost like, with each game, they progress the story of the assassins and how they function as time rubles on...settings wise, it's one of the more colourful AC games.
Amazing game! Have played all the Assassins Creed games made to date. This game took me around 60 hours to complete. Great story and amazing gameplay. Definitely worth the buy.
My son asked for this as one of his Christmas presents.
