Doesn't really stand out from everything else out there, or anything that came before it. Evie is a great character though!

"A shoutout to the days before games tried to grind coin out of their players"
It's that Ubi time of the year again when we are greeted with the next in line of the Assassin's Creed series and this time the Animus takes us back to Victoria England, more specially its 1886 London, smack bang in the middle of the Industrial Revolution.
Jacob & Evie are one of the most charismatic characters in the entire series; London is wonderfully recreated; Sublime soundtrack; The map is less cluttered then last year's instalment
Still suffers from some odd glitches
This year's Assassin's Creed is a mixed bag, there's no doubt about that. On one hand it has provided me with some of the most fun I've had with a game in a long time. On the other hand it might be considered the worst Assassin's Creed – period.
Ubisoft handles the hunt for Jack the Ripper with surprising care, but familiar gameplay.
Are we at a point with the Assassin's Creed series where fatigue has well and truly set in? Well after the mess that was Assassin's Creed Unity, it seemed that way. Being a yearly franchise just doesn't feel like the right thing, as bugs were rife in the last game and it was an absolute average...
Much like with the series itself, to understand the present we must first look to the past. In this case, we need to briefly revisit the mess that was Assassin's Creed: Unity. There were many flaws with that game, undoing anything of worth being able to shine, and the end result was the worst game...
So; Much; Content, Victorian London is brilliantly crafted, and a wonder to explore, The dynamic between Jacob & Evie is entertaining to watch
… but the game fails to take advantage of the twin's potential until the very end; Performance issues; while not game-breaking; are noticeable; Loading times; especially upon mission failures; can be fairly long
To make sure that history didn't repeat itself, I went into Syndicate with my expectations low. I admit I was pretty hyped for Unity, and while it wasn't a terrible game, it wasn't a really good one either.
Let's tackle the giant elephant in the room first, performance; The game runs at a way better framerate; Sure, there are still very slight dips here and there when things get hectics, but it's in no way a disaster like Unity was, London is a fantastic setting.
It's clear that Ubisoft had to scale back in the graphics department; While facial animations are still superb, the environment doesn't look nearly as good as it did in Unity; Though, I guess it is a tradeoff for a more stable framerate, Being an open world game, with a pretty massive city, it's...
My son loves this game!! As a gamer and a big Assassin's Creed fan he was looking forward to getting this game and he said it was awesome and more than expected!!
Is an excellent game with a solid story
