Assassin's Creed III Review | An Epic Abridged

The Short Version: Bigger often doesn't equal better, that's the moral to be learned here. Assassin's Creed III loses sight of what made the first game and its sequel such attractive propositions, delivering an immense content offering brimming with excess.

Hot damn that's a fat content offering; The world building is superb; Multiplayer still offers a true; rewarding Assassin experience

But since when was multiplayer the best part of an Assassin's Creed game; All filler no killer; Too many directives feel like chores rather than fun; A terribly abrupt ending; twenty minutes of unskippable credits; and then awful epilogue missions

Its ok

few people are making this to be the best game, its not. there is so much more they could of done to make this game more interesting so it wasnt so repetative. i.e buying and selling, being paid for contract kills or thievery, actually having a currency so your killing for something other than for...

Assassin's Creed III

I would give this game a 4.5 star but since i can i rounded up for it. this definatly the best game since AC2 and it changed the gameplay and enjoyment level for the better just as much. I really hope Ubisoft has learnt it is better to spend 3 years developing a game than to rush one game a year.

Assassin's Creed III: The Tyranny of King Washington -- The Redemption

Embedded deep in the depths of The Redemption , the third and last installment of Ratonhnhaké:ton's journey to depose a power-mad George Washington, are the seeds of an Assassin's Creed experience that surprises and delights: naval battles that pile on enemy ships, thought-provoking conversation...

+ Naval battles provide some real meat; even if your efforts ultimately don't count for anything; + Bear Might power is mindless fun

- Full of (admittedly easy) busywork; plot is as cliché and hole-ridden as ever; still a few bugs, ? How did Ratonhnhaké:ton's mom break into Washington's throne room without spirit powers

Assassin's Creed Liberation HD

There are a few things that you need to know if you're considering buying Assassin's Creed Liberation HD. The game is a re-issue of a PlayStation Vita game released at about the same time Assassin's Creed III appeared on consoles.

Assassin's Creed

Hmmm. It looked so good in promo movies shown a year ago, even though you could spot some horrible tearing as the camera swivelled and a few other glitches as well. Ah whatever, the animation was so damn good and the intense fighting action looked to be well done too, Assassin's Creed promised to be...

Altair's animation and free running agility is a joy to watch; Remarkably detailed realisation of Holy Land locations; You can get truly medieval on enemies with some brutally realistic moves; Busy; heaving; well-populated cities; Occasionally provides great atmosphere and sweeping vistas; Plenty to...

Some tearing and the odd glitch; Being an assassin is not as varied as it should be; Not enough stealth; Missions become samey after a while; The animus plot "twist" in the game is underdeveloped and frankly; crap

Assassin's Creed review

This is a one-weekend experience.

The next generation of open-city gameplay! Some of the best animations out there; Gorgeous graphics and starts out very exciting and fun

Becomes very repetitive and the story depends too much on there being a sequel

Disappointing!

Ubisoft have worked hard on this game, not just in developing it but also marketing it. When we saw the first videos of Assassin's Creed the reception was very positive. A huge, sprawling city set in the swords and sandals world of the twelfth century Middle East replete with cinematic, acrobatic...
