Assassin's Creed 3 review

Just a year after the last iteration, how can Assassin's Creed 3 justify being the next numbered game in the series? Pushing through a crowd, the hidden blade aching to be released, the original Assassin's Creed tapped into our excitement with taking an historic journey through real world 12 th...

It's great gaming tweaked to near perfection; Fantastic storytelling, and absorbing gameplay

The occasional tendency to restrict your play on the basis of telling a better story

Assassin's Creed 3 Review

Assassin's Creed III is undoubtedly the best in the series and revitalises everything about Assassin's Creed that was starting to age prematurely. Connor has a fantastic story to tell, and in many ways is a more enjoyable protagonist to control; against the backdrop of the American Revolution,...

+ An amazing world; + Heaps of side missions to explore; + Improved combat and free-running; + Connor and the American Revolution

- Horses are rubbish; - Some visual issues

Assassin's Creed III

Assassin's Creed 3 is a game that, if games were reviewed solely on their value for money, would be perfect. It is one of the largest games made recently and that scale is not a result of vast distances to cover slowly a la Skyrim or ultimately unrewarding clumps of activity as plagued Just Cause 2...

Assassin's Creed III – Review (Xbox 360)

Another great game worthy of an epic series. If you weren't a fan before I'd still suggest at least renting it to see if the new ideas hold your attention. The story alone is worth the price of admission, even if the ending leaves much to be desired.

This game is very fun to play but it becomes very repetitive after the 4th assassination. Its just go to the town clime a tower find some people learn about the bad guy and them kill him, in return you will get new abilities.

stunning visuals; great climbing abilities

gets a bit repetitive

Assassins Creed

Assassins Creed is best approached with no preconceptions whatsoever. If you play it with an expectation of greatness, then an unfair emphasis will be placed on the in game issues and that does not do the game justice.

Assassin's Creed 3

For years now, Assassin's Creed remains one of Ubisoft's most popular video game series. The original showed terrific potential, although it suffered from repetitive mission design. The developers have been improving the gameplay mechanics and building upon the story of Desmond Miles ever since.

Ubisoft finally nailed the fighting mechanics; maintaining the flow of combat is one of the best aspects of the game; naval conflicts are fun as hell; an authentic representation of sea and land battles that took place during the American Revolution

Missions feel unrewarding and uninteresting at times; Connor's no Ezio (or Altair for that matter); initial release crammed with technical issues; there are many elements in the game that just seem useless (like hunting)

Assassin's Creed III

Overall, Assassin's Creed III is an excellent addition to the series. While there a number of bugs and the protagonist isn't someone players will feel particularly attached to, the lengthy campaign, the range of objectives and the well thought out multiplayer ensure there is plenty of replayability...

Lengthy campaign; Great new additions and improvements; Well thought out multiplayer

Protagonist doesn't have the same likability as previous assassins; Number of bugs

Assassin's Creed III (Xbox 360) Review

Being called an Assassins Creed Fan is appropriate for me as my love for the series has gradually increased over time, as has my Assassin's Creed paraphernalia collection that now takes up an entire shelf in my home. Assassin's Creed III continues the story of the Assassins vs.
