Assassin's Creed 3 is a game that, if games were reviewed solely on their value for money, would be perfect. It is one of the largest games made recently and that scale is not a result of vast distances to cover slowly a la Skyrim or ultimately unrewarding clumps of activity as plagued Just Cause 2...

But I digress. If it's a "killer" time you're looking for on the Wii U, Assassin's Creed III is a noteworthy effort, one that'll keep you intrigued with hours of single and multiplayer content, and plenty of exquisite gameplay touches.

Overall, Assassin's Creed III is an excellent addition to the series. While there a number of bugs and the protagonist isn't someone players will feel particularly attached to, the lengthy campaign, the range of objectives and the well thought out multiplayer ensure there is plenty of replayability...

" Assassin's Creed III " makes some important steps forwards, and some bizarre ones back. For all the greatness of the naval battles, forest free-running and fantastic art, the horrible UI, bad frame-rate, poor mission design make me just sigh that so much has regressed in 12 months.

December 21 st will come and go, but the legacy of Assassins Creed III will last forever. But what will that legacy be? Although this is the third numbered installment, AC3 is the fifth game in the series and with that comes the knowledge of past mistakes and ideas.
