Cool Details.

Bought this for husband who wanted to walk around in the colonial era in the game. He said he enjoyed it until he "accidentally" killed a character and then people in the game were chasing him. Made me laugh. Anyway, he thinks the details and game are very cool and he is definitely happy with it.

Assassin's Creed III -- The Tyranny of King Washington

Note: This review evaluates the Tyranny of King Washington DLC as a whole in light of the third episode, The Betrayal. For more detailed thoughts on the individual merits of the first and second episodes, look here and here .

New powers refresh the gameplay; High production values; Story eventually pays off

Overpriced; Doesn't do enough with the setting

Assassin's Creed 3 Wii U review

Despite being deeply flawed, 2007's Assassin's Creed was a damn fine example of the current console generation's potential, one that was achieved in the subsequent Ezio trilogy. But unlike its predecessors, Assassin's Creed III was a game that had few flaws to fix, no big problems to correct, and no...

Convinient use of GamePad screen; Remote Play support for TV-less gameplay; Complete version of the game

Sometimes muddy textures and shadows; Even more glitches than the other versions; Multiplayer servers are empty

Assassin's Creed III review (WIIU)

Connor is a difficult character to like in some respects, because he has little interest in the plight of the patriots except as it relates to the security of his own people. He tends to act a bit like an overgrown child in some instances, lashing out at the people around him, then trusting them and...

Assassin's Creed III

The original 'Assassin's Creed' was a unique but flawed game that set up an interesting world and premise. Unfortunately, the play mechanics were not as precise as they should have been, leading to a title that held more promise than pleasure.

Assassin's Creed III (Xbox 360)

To many Americans there is a mystical quality to the years of the American Revolution: the men and women who participated in the founding of America shed blood and tears as their lives were torn asunder in the name of something greater than themselves.

Gorgeous environments and representations of famous places and figures take the center stage here; The voice acting also deserves a nod: Assassin's Creed 3 features some of the best performances in a game in years, though the actor for Connor seems less than enthusiastic at times.

Despite wonderful visuals; Assassin's Creed 3 stutters; has graphical hiccups that affect gameplay; and has some of the worst anti-aliasing problems this side of the Playstation 2.

Certain vital events from the American Revolution have become so iconic that they still loom over our collective consciousness. The Boston Tea Party, Paul Revere's famous ride, and George Washington's crossing of the Delaware River aren't just important historical events--they are symbols of...

Great storytelling that bridges two time periods; Exciting sea battles; Watching your homestead come together provides a sense of progress; Lots of historical and visual details to admire; Varied missions make good use of individual mechanics

Far too many bugs and other technical issues; Hunting is underdeveloped; Parkour and stealth inconsistencies

Assassin's Creed III

It's a good game that should have been great.

Cool combat; Good story; Great multiplayer; Tons of stuff to do; Wonderful setting

Free Run can be problematic; Lots of technical issues; Takes too long to get going
