Everyone has heard the many complaints of how the first Assassin's Creed was repetitive, and to be honest we are bored with hearing it. Yes, we can agree that it was repetitive, but that didn't stop it from being a technical marvel and an enjoyable experience to boot.

Don't get me wrong, I love video games, but I find most of them represent junk food for the mind. You pop the game in, you shut your brain off, have some fun, and you don't really come out any richer from the experience.

There had to have been a lion's den of obstacles to overcome during the development of Assassin's Creed 2. Like Paris Hilton, the original was an exasperating display of style over substance; a beautiful looking game that was depressingly dull on the inside.

The storyline of the Resident Evil games has always been a schlocky, B-grade yarn you either feel is taken way to seriously or find to be a competent tale that weaves together its entries in interesting ways.

I hated Assassin's Creed . With a passion. I know others seemed to have loved it, but Ubisoft's 2006 title sticks out as one of my least favorite games of all time.  The controls were awkward, the story made no sense and the game was just flat out boring.

Once again PC gamers have been left in the wake of their console playing friends with a long held back port. This time it's Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed 2, and while the original may have put you off, this is arguably worth the wait.

The first Assassin's Creed was a very interesting game: historical setting, third-person parkour action, and a plot that couldn't have been sillier if it had been written by Dan Brown.
