Assassin's Creed II

Everyone has heard the many complaints of how the first Assassin's Creed was repetitive, and to be honest we are bored with hearing it. Yes, we can agree that it was repetitive, but that didn't stop it from being a technical marvel and an enjoyable experience to boot.

Assassin's Creed II

Don't get me wrong, I love video games, but I find most of them represent junk food for the mind. You pop the game in, you shut your brain off, have some fun, and you don't really come out any richer from the experience.

Deep, educational, epic and well researched story; stellar voice acting; free running engine is phenomenal; brilliantly realised unique environments and setting; overwhelming number of things to do, see, and collect in a massive reconstruction of renaissance Italy; combat has been refined over the...

Too easy to make loads of money; camera can occasionally be a minor nuisance

Assassin's Creed 2 Review

There had to have been a lion's den of obstacles to overcome during the development of Assassin's Creed 2. Like Paris Hilton, the original was an exasperating display of style over substance; a beautiful looking game that was depressingly dull on the inside.

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles Review

The storyline of the Resident Evil games has always been a schlocky, B-grade yarn you either feel is taken way to seriously or find to be a competent tale that weaves together its entries in interesting ways.

Sequel to the 2007 original , Assassin's Creed II again follows Desmond Miles's adventures in the mind bending Animus as he escapes the evil Abstergo Industries and once again plunges into his genetic memory.

Assassin's Creed II is a gorgeous and impressive piece of work, unfortunately undercut by a few notable issues that intrude on the fun. Developer Ubisoft Montreal has addressed many of the original's flaws by filling its follow-up with fresh and enjoyable mission types while still retaining the joy...

Huge; beautifully realized world to explore; Ezio is a terrific new character; Tombs put a spotlight on the excellent and enjoyable platforming; A good variety of weapons; missions; and stealth techniques; Incredible production values

Frequently broken copy protection scheme requires constant Internet access; High price point; Some additions are a little contrived

Assassin's Creed II

I hated Assassin's Creed . With a passion. I know others seemed to have loved it, but Ubisoft's 2006 title sticks out as one of my least favorite games of all time.  The controls were awkward, the story made no sense and the game was just flat out boring.

Assassin's Creed II

Assassin's Creed 2

Once again PC gamers have been left in the wake of their console playing friends with a long held back port. This time it's Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed 2, and while the original may have put you off, this is arguably worth the wait.

Review: Assassin's Creed 2 (PC)

The first Assassin's Creed was a very interesting game: historical setting, third-person parkour action, and a plot that couldn't have been sillier if it had been written by Dan Brown.
