Three of the four cameras did not work.

We bought the set and one camera did not work. The supplier replaced it. Within a week, three of the other cameras stopped working. We got one working. We have been unable to find a way to contact Arlo for support regarding the other two. There was an initial link offering three weeks back up service from Arlo but when we didn’t click on it straight away the link disappeared. The first camera which worked is still working and is great. Everything we wished the other cameras were. If they all worked like that it would be an excellent product. It seems our cameras are faulty. Very disappointed in this product.

Cupla Issues

Good build and video quality. However a few things that make it more hands on than expected: 1. Had trouble keeping connection to wifi - as a result of them dropping out, the battery died on each of the units. Still trying to resolve. 2. To recharge the battery, you have to bring the whole unit to a powerpoint i.e. the battery can't be charged independent of the whole camera and casing. 3. There are only two screw on wall mounts supplied and two magnets (which isn't ideal for area where the public can access as they can be easily dismounted). Overall good quality product but I would perhaps look for something with a base station to enable better connectivity. I've also bought 2 screw wall mounts from bunnings (additonal costs).

Arlo Cameras

Very happy with the cameras and easy to set up BUT Just a few things that Arlo doesn't tell you that you should be aware of if you also buy these: The siren goes off for any motion - It cannot be set to only trigger for person detection You can get around this by using ifttt.com to set up the trigger but it will cost for more triggers If the cameras disconnect from the wifi (wifi goes down) then you will need to get on the ladder and reset the cameras manually The only way around that is by putting the wifi router on a UPS Products like google mesh do not have this wifi issue
