Apple Magic Mouse

Quite good. Gestures work great. The location of the optical sensor is at the front of the mouse, under your fingertips which may take some getting used to, depending on how you hold a mouse.

Review: Apple Magic Mouse

It's about time. For years, Apple has embraced aesthetic simplicity over practicality with its peripherals. Single-button mice! Yes, we know Apple hasn't made single-button mice for a long time, but why in the world did Steve Jobs ever think that was a good idea? Well, he was wrong until today.

Smooth, comfortable form factor; Multitouch gestures streamline goofing off on the web; Buttonless design bids farewell to the Mighty Mouse's dirt-loving trackball

Lack of Exposé and Spaces support will force your hand to the keyboard more often

Like Magic!

As a regular mouse, the Magic Mouse works well for clicking, vertical scrolling. It is not very comfortable when swiping left or right with the fingers. You have to hold the mouse steady to keep it from sliding while swiping. I use it in conjunction with Apple's trackpad.

Accurate Tracking; Fast Response; Glides Smoothly; Great Features; Works On Any Surface

Very good quality and performance

Use the product every day and find the design comfortable to hold. Had the product only two weeks but, it seems to be of very good quality.

Apple Magic Mouse

This is Apple's newest and first wireless mouse that features Multi-Touch capabilities. First of all the design of the Magic Mouse is incredible and one of a kind, the top surface is glossy polycarbonate and both the sides and bottom are made from aluminum.

First Look Review: Apple's wireless, multitouch Magic Mouse

Apple has broken its decade-long chain of terrible mouse designs with the new multitouch, wireless Magic Mouse, although its multitouch features are somewhat limited in functionality.

Apple Multi-touch Magic Mouse

I'm very picky when it comes to mice. It has something to do with spending most of my time online sweating with forms - a lot of forms! The nonstop clicking action and prolonged pressing from scrolling, not to mention jumping from one form to the next, put a strain on my fingers.

I had been using the older mouse with the little ball in the top, which worked great but the ball was getting grimey and less responsive so I got the new magic mouse to try. After downloading the update I switched on the mouse (which came with batteries supplied) and it worked perfectly.
