Significantly better keyboard

Keyboard is now signifincatly better and this now featuers 2 fans instead of 1 fan from pervious generations. It is also slightly heavier than the older versions, but this is no problem. There's also now a dedicated Escape key as well as a seperate Touch ID button. Perviously, I had the 2018 13' MBP. To be honest, performance wise, I didn't see a significant difference that I was hoping for. Boot speed, application lauches were very similar or roughly the same. I would say this would be a great update to those who are still using the older style Unibody MBP or have laptop that is older than 4 years.

Solid performer

I bought this product a couple of weeks ago and have been happy with it thus far. Purchasing a version with extra RAM ensures an ability to run all my existing programs quickly and hopefully future proofs me for a few years. This is the first time I have had a mac with the touch bar and found it actually a lot more integrated with programs than I expected. I'm still not sure I will use it much, but it is an interesting option to explore over time. The laptop does appear a little heavier than I expected, but it is not a deal breaker. I would like to see more innovation from Apple macs - the laptop seems little different to previous versions. But it is solid and delivers as a well working laptop.

MacBook Pro 13 2020 in Review: Apple's subnotebook only gets the mandatory update

No innovation, but still very good. Apple refreshes its 13-inch MacBook Pro with a new keyboard, but the other changes are minor. You get new processors, but only the performance of the integrated graphics adapter has improved.

The 2020 MacBook Pro 13 is pretty much just a mandatory update, because it was the last MacBook with...

excellent case and build quality; huge trackpad with great precision; usually very quiet and cool operation; very good display with flawless scaling; very good speakers; 4x Thunderbolt 3 w/ full bandwidth;

no Wi-Fi 6; neither USB-A nor HDMI; bad webcam; very expensive – especially the upgrades; power supply reaches its limitations;
