I upgraded from My old Macbook and took only 1hr to back up using time machine and transfer all my applications, files and desktop exactly as it looked on my old laptop. The battery only lasts about 4 hours unplugged from the charger but I only use it at home so it's not that much of a problem.

Such a awssm laptop ... much better then windows... not a ratina display but a great deal at this price ... must buy... for non macbook users... love it... thanx amazon and apple .

Boots up faster than any computer I have ever owned or used. My first machine with SSD and it does seem to make a real difference in speed. This new MacBook Pro also charges much faster than previous laptops owned by my spouse.

Love all the apple products and when you buy it at ABT they give you a 15 day price match. I thought I had a good price but found a better one a week later on black friday. They refunded $50.00 and reduced the tax for the best price ever.
