After doing more research on "recertified" items on Newegg, I learned that repairs are actually not performed on them. They don't give refunds, and will only replace it with a similar item. I thought.

This MBP is the perfect size and portability

I have only had this item for a couple of days, but I am shipping it back; I did a lot of research on both the product and Newegg before buying it; ,y other option was getting a refurb from the online Apple store; I should have done that in the first place.

I purchased the 13" Retina MacBook Pro as both a backup machine for my beefier 15" rMBP and as a secondary machine to help with data management while working on film sets.

While there are numerous choices for laptops, 13.3" Macbook Pro Retina mid level system is the best

Not an inexpensive laptop

Perfectly perfect laptop. I have always had Macintosh computers in the past, starting with the white laptop version, then upgraded to a regular MacBook, and now to a Pro. The Pro is by far the best. The Retina screen does an excellent job of not tiring my eyes after a long day of computer work.

Got it for the kids, as that is what high school kids are comfortable with. So far so good.

It was the best decision I have ever made buying a computer. The Mac is far superior to the other windows computers I own. I am planning to buy another one for my wife.

Super fast computer, the SSD drive is lightning fast, retina display although not needed, is beautiful. Only downside is you pay for the Apple name tag, and for a school laptop, you will never use it to its full potential.
