I've owned Apple laptops for most of the past 12 years. Going all the way back to the first 17" PowerBook, and even including some iMacs along the way, Apple computers have been my choice machines. Recently I upgraded from my mid 2013 MacBook Air 11" to the new MacBook.

love this! already have an iPad but needed to be able to word process more easily and edit documents etc. and my old laptop which is Windows is dreadfully slow even though less than 2 years. Light, beautiful and it works! Immediately. Fires up from cold within seconds. Good battery life.

I do most of my computing on an iMac 27" when at home. Only wanted a laptop when traveling. This unit is now my to go unit. The display is fantastic, the speed is unbelievable, but the cost is extremely high.
