After reviewing games and toys, often with an old-fashioned and educational value, I think it's time to enter the party season with something that's stupid, and yet intoxicatingly fun, in the form of 'Angry Birds'. Oh wait; you've probably all ready heard about this game. It's so well known.

Like the game for my kids and myself, but I do not like you have to download to a site to get to different areas of the game, which we have not done yet! I/We like stand alone games where you do not have to update, download, log online to play the next area of the game.

Rovio has released Angry Birds Star Wars II for mobile phones and tablets . We all knew it was going to happen. It was as inexorable as the final struggle between Luke and Darth Vader.

Excellent game if you are into puzzles. Basically you are firing birds out of a catapult to knock down structures to eliminate the bad piggies. Angles and strategies need to be worked out.

There used to be a trend in gaming during the late 90's and early noughties where games would get more complicated each year in order to be a good game. Thank goodness that trend quickly faded. We are now in the age of casual gaming. Games like Farmville and Plants vs.

I love Seasons! It has such a vast variety to choose from. Being from Minnesota, I especially love the winter scenes. Being to switch from the various seasons and holidays keeps me fascinated. I don't know how far these continue, but am loving it.
