Amazon Echo Dot with Clock initial review: It's a Dot. With a Clock.

The Echo Dot adds a little extra to what is already a hugely successful device - it's a neat idea but isn't enough to upgrade from an earlier Dot, of course. If you are adding a new Dot to your home or getting one for the first time then it's definitely worth it if you'd find the clock useful.

Simple but effective idea; Bright clock; Snooze function

The display doesn't really do an awful lot; No visual indicator of multiple alarms

Nowadays, there is no shortage of Amazon Echo devices that come with a number of features and sometimes at a cost. One of the most recent devices is the Echo Dot (3rd Gen) which is one of the cheapest Echo devices and a vast improvement over the previous version.

Cheaper than comparable smart speakers (i.e Google Home Mini; Nice fabric design; Has Bluetooth and AUX out; Great sound; Easy to setup

Comes with a much larger power adapter than the previous version; Alexa has some trouble hearing
