Alpha Protocol is very underrated. A stealth espionage RPG! Now that is awesome... In a gaming world where it is dominated by a first person shooters with little substance (see CoD) Alpha Protocol stands out. Alpha Protocol's plot is very good. The mechanics are alright.

There are probably two different kinds of people who will approach Alpha Protocol. The first is hardcore RPG fans who are coming for the expansive dialogue and story alteration elements, and then there are the shooter fans who think that they are getting a great shooter with some RPG elements.

My brother loves the game and plays often. It has a good graphics and good story line.

The obvious flaws been discussed at great length regarding Alpha Protocol. Whether it's the glitchy mechanics, broken enemy AI's, or underwhelming graphics. However despite all these things this game delivers on it's promises. It creates a intricate spy world Robert Ludlum would be proud of.

Alpha Protocol weaves a fun, if somewhat derivative, tapestry. The title character, Michael Thornton, is highly customisable and the decisions you make at various junctures have true consequences, shaping the story and impacting gameplay in notable ways.

My second playthrough, as Gung-ho Psycho Thorton, a tough guy with skill in rifles and punching things, showed how wrong I was. Somehow the bosses were even worse , many taking upwards of 100 direct shots from the assault rifle to kill.

3rd Person Action, Espionage RPG Smert Shpionam? I might be wrong but I suspect the life of a spy isn't as glamorous as James Bond, Jason Bourne and Napoleon Solo would have us believe.
