Remember from the deleted scenes from the extended version of the limited limited version of lord of the rings. When frodo goes to get a carton of milk and he has to walk along the top of mountains taking days and when he gets back, Gandor tells him I said non fat milk and off frodo goes.

I'm a massive Alien fan, so when I saw the trailer and reviews for this game, I rushed out and got it. Initially, i was impressed. Great graphics, good, solid story. There are a lot of stealth games out there, and I do like them. However, this game soon became a chore, and boring.

Amazing attention to detail. So thrilling and EXTREMELY terrifying. Not for the faint of heart, yet an amazing game.

Our terrorized protagonist is none other than Amanda Ripley, daughter of Ellen, who during the course of this game is still drifting through space in cryosleep. Investigating the possible recovery of the Nostromo's flight recorder, Amanda, under the supervision of the nefarious Weyland-Yutani...

Gameplay - The gameplay is in depth. The campaign is lengthy and paced well. It is obvious the developers put thought into making this game. Collecting items is key to survival. Ammo is scarce. The motion tracker is very beneficial but can be inaccurate at times. This really plays into the fear.

I wasn't expecting much from this game when I purchased it. I heard a lot of people mention it as the one of the scariest games yet. I was really skeptical about this as no previous installments took this approach. However, this game got me completely off-guard.

Thought it was a good game, not great it did take a long time to get into but once I did, I really enjoyed it. Storyline was well thought out and had me on the edge of my seat. Game was very intense and made me jump a few times was a real sense of danger when having to dodge and fight of the alien.

Masterful sound design and soundtrack that carries the tension perfectly. Epic, cinematic and varied storyline lasting a dozen challenging hours (I played on 'novice' difficulty, but the alien doesn't give a damn, it insta-kills on any difficulty!).

This is not a usual title and defdnitely not for trigger happy only players. This is a slow paced survival game which concentrates more on stealth and would take a lot of trial and error go get adjusted with the mechanics.

Its great to play if you are a die hard Alien fan like me.
