In Version 3 of the real-time strategy classic, you try to take control of the New World playing as one of eight "civilizations," each of which possesses unique "units" (equipment and personnel, for example). Game play is easy to pick up but hard to master.

The graphics are colorful and varied, animations uniformly excellent, sound effects wonderful -- especially the female German villagers, and the cannons firing in quick succession; Multiplayer is really where this game shines

Single-player's only really value is to prepare you for multiplayer, and it doesn't do a very good job at that; Anyone who takes this game semi-seriously will make mincemeat out of you if your only experience is against the computer

Strategy fans, its time for you to get excited! Microsoft Studios has released the title that drove us nuts when the first game came out. Age of Empires III is upon us and once again I think that this game is going to redefine the way that most of us will play real time strat games.

I had previously purchase the older version and wanted to try this version. I like how easy it is the game to control I wouldn't change a thing. I like how the attacker is continuous compared to the previous I had played.

I have been a fan of the Age of Empires since 2008. Its a good strategy game especially when playing in multiplayer. Compare to back then, this price now is perfect. I play this game almost everyday.

Amazing.! I was supposed to get it in another week or so but came in yesterday and played all night now I'm here at work running on 4 hours of sleep.! Highly recommend it...!!!

I have already reviewd age of empires 3 but i though hell ive got the collectors edition i review that too Well we all waited and waited and waited. Fearing there would never be a sequel to the much loved game ages of empires 2. Well its here.

just finished playing the demo for the fifth time ( could be more ) and if the game is half as good as the demo is...well.....it will be the best AOE ever

I bought this game for my son (soon to be 13). He absolutely loves it & plays it every spare moment he can get on the computer for. The graphics are great, seems to be a very challenging game. His favourite xmas present!
