Age of Empires III

Violent game play, realistic battles, and incredibly realistic war effects. When characters die they leave a blood splotch on the map.

Age of Empires III Review

Six years have flown by since Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings became one of the definitive real-time strategy games on the market. Age of Kings typified this style of gaming in many respects, but it innovated and improved the style in many others, establishing the template for untold numbers of...

Tried-and-true formula still makes for a complex and interesting strategy game, Innovative "home city" system creates long-term depth and strategy, Plenty of content and modes of play, Spectacular visuals, if you have a fast system

Some aspects of combat don't look and feel quite right; Frame rate can bog down at the wrong moments; Falls into some of the same traps as many older real-time strategy games

Age of Empires III

When I got Age of Empires III I found myself extremly excited. As with most other games, this one was scheduled as another breakthrough in gaming. Age of Empires III would shift RTS borders yet again, but does it? We shall see.

Age of Empires III

Age of Empires III doesn't just have a revamped graphics engine. This is the series' first leap into the third dimension, but instead of simply adding another dimension, Ensemble has pushed the boundaries of what graphics can do in RTS games.

Age of Empires III

Age of Empires 2. Now that's a tough act to follow. Not only is the game one of the classics of real-time strategy gaming, it's still going strong. You can fire up the game today and find opponents online without too much trouble.

Age of Empires III

If it hasn't become painfully clear yet, this game is for fans of the genre. It has all the trappings of an RTS game, and does little to bring in non-fans. There are no advanced military formations (there is a setting to enable advanced formations, but they're nothing special), you can't control the...

addictive game! time flies when i play it! love it!

I had previously purchase the older version and wanted to try this version. I like how easy it is the game to control I wouldn't change a thing. I like how the attacker is continuous compared to the previous I had played.
