I purchased this laptop 2 weeks ago to replace my 3 weeks old failed M1 Macbook Air (a very sour experience which totally made me stay away from Apple in the future) which Apple refused to give warranty to. To my surprise, this Acer laptop is so much better in many ways. It is much cheaper, yet has more RAM. Performance-wise, there is not much real world difference. The screen is the most important part. It is matte and does not reflect irritating light to eyes. It looks like much more rugged and not as prone to breaking as the M1 Macbook Air.
