I recently got a PS3 because of the hopes for kingdom hearts and these games as well as anything fun inbetween. But this game was worth every cent. I love it the graphics are amazing the flight controls are the same as the others which really give it a classic feel.

Ace Combat fans may not have seen this one coming. Since the beginning, the series has retained a 'shooting-at-dots' style of gameplay, with an enduring combination of simplicity and detail. Assault Horizon is however, is vastly different from it's predecessors.

I have always been an Ace Combat fan and the new one still has the play ability of the old games with the ability to not just have planes which makes it awesome to me anyways. I rented and purchased within a few days and completed soon afterwards great game.

Very fun. Upgrades you earn make for high replay value. Much better than older ace combat games.

So every once in a while I get a title and I think "Ahh….man…maybe I should send this to somebody else to handle." and that thought went through my head with Ace Combat: Assault Horizon.  The reason was simple – I didn't particularly enjoy Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation.

Waaaaay back when I was just a small Simon, we had a Mac Plus in our house. It was our first computer and kind of a big deal... for me because of a game called Falcon . Falcon was an F-16 flight simulator. I played the hell out of that game as a kid - it was one of my first experiences in gaming.

Ace Combat: Assault Horizon is the best game title in the franchise. The addition of ground fights gives a refreshing feels to fans of the series, and on top of that new Conquest mode adds up a lot of re-playability for the game.

In recent years I have felt that the Ace Combat series has become a little tired and wondered if there was any life left in the series.
