I guess it should go without saying that if you have any issues with any kind of motion sickness in gaming, you should probably steer clear of this. Or do as I did and focus on the arrow. Don't look down. For God's sake just don't! Anyway…

Flying games are few and far between on major consoles today, with only IL2: Sturmovik, Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. and Ace Combat flying the flag for this genre of game. And it's not hard to see why, as aviation and gaming...
Namco have been running the Ace combat series now for 16 years - I know this because I have played every single one of them, all 8 games and I loved all of them. I played the first one actually called Air Combat on the PS1 when I was 15 !
Ace Combat fans may not have seen this one coming. Since the beginning, the series has retained a 'shooting-at-dots' style of gameplay, with an enduring combination of simplicity and detail. Assault Horizon is however, is vastly different from it's predecessors.
Got this for christmas and played it with zero expectations. I have found it to be great fun, a good game with good graphics, easy controls and a decent storyline. Very good value for the money if you fancy a change of genre!
I have always been an Ace Combat fan and the new one still has the play ability of the old games with the ability to not just have planes which makes it awesome to me anyways. I rented and purchased within a few days and completed soon afterwards great game.
Home run! Great slugngig with that answer!
Ace Combat has been a staple console-based air combat game since I can remember as it has always provided an arcade like experience with some great aerial dogfight and flight mechanics.
This is a game jam-packed with content. Do you like flying jet fighters, helicopters, AC-130s or bombers? Do you like shooting, destroying things with missiles, hitting the skies as high speeds with non stop action? Try Ace Combat: Assault Horizon!
Very fun. Upgrades you earn make for high replay value. Much better than older ace combat games.
