It's been twelve years since the last Ace Combat release and Skies Unknown feels like nothing has changed - and I don't mean that dismissively. Everything that makes these games such a personal joy to play, from sheer number of planes to fly to an overwrought and melodramatic story, has been updated...

While I don't think Ace Combat 7 is for everyone I did genuinely enjoy my time with it. It's also about the only flight simulator game on consoles, so it has that going for it. The action is good and dynamic, it looks beautiful, and there are some good twists on the formula.

The Ace Combat series, which came along in 1995, offered something great. It made the control of super-technological fighters extremely amusing and accessible. If you have approached a flight simulator like Falcon 4 or a hybrid game like Jane's USAF, you have certainly had to deal with long learning...

I was delighted to play this again as the last genuine Ace Combat was on the PS2 (Unless you had an Xbox....and even that was 10 years ago). The gameplay has had subtle improvements and the graphics are simply wonderful.

This game is amazing!! I'll start off there and tell you why. For anyone that has played ace combat before, you'll appreciate this 1. Improved graphics, excellent gameplay, dogfights don't just seem like the same repetitive battles over and over. Lots of variety with missions. Then there's VR mode.

I bought this for my partners birthday present, he loves this game it is excellent, and the graphics are out of this world. Can't keep him off it. At least I have some peace !!!!!!
