A generally well constructed product with good Ah capacity for its size. Software easy to install from supplied CD. Some issues to consider: 1. The 13A supply cable is moulded into the UPS, so unlike the larger APC UPS units you cannot swap it out for a longer one.
Fantastic bit of kit has kept my home server up through numerous power dips/brown-outs and during a longterm power cut kept my server up for 30 mins - script shut my client pcs down nicely on imediate loss of power in order to keep my server up for the longest possible time.
Following the instructions, I connected the battery, plugged the unit in and left it to charge. Then I tested every socket with a lamp - all okay. Next, I plugged my computer into it, connected the USB cable and installed the supplied software. As a power supply it's fine.
