No wonder these bad boys won What HiFi awards!! I'm just listening via Amazon prime streaming to all sorts, I'm a 90's oldskool raver so decided to test the prodigy on wireless mode - WOW! The bass is soooo sexy.
If you like deep rich bass this is not your headphone
If you're looking for on-ear wireless headphones, but you have to have noise cancelling technology, the AKG N60 NCs are a solid option. While they are pricey at $300 MSRP, we have seen discounts on them and Amazon regularly goes well below full retail with the N60s, so just keep that in mind before...
Good noise cancellation technology; Love that they are completely wireless - you can also use as wired headphones; Great for travel and office use; Really good battery life at ~14 hours on a single charge
Eventually fatigue your ears, as do any on-ear headphones, Little bass; Higher volumes get distorted; Not amazing audio quality, Cannot use as regular bluetooth headphones with noise cancelling turned off
After quietly returning to the consumer space via a pack-in with the Samsung's Galaxy S8, S8+ and Note 8 smartphones, the Harmon Kardon-backed audio brand AKG is now moving to position itself as a solid alternative to the Sonys and Sennheisers of the lifestyle audio world.
Very comfortable to wear; Battery life a little below par
Noise-cancelling could be better; No built-in mic
The N60 NC from AKG go wireless
Noise canceling; Lightweight; Portable; Price
Battery; Sound quality
If noise cancellation is your top priority, the aforementioned Bose QuietComfort 20 is still your best bet. There are other headphones with solid audio performance and decent noise cancellation, such as the Plantronics BackBeat Pro , the Samsung Level Over , and the Sennheiser Momentum Wireless ,...
Powerful, balanced audio performance; Solid noise cancellation; Can be used passively; Includes removable cable; Comfortable design that folds down for easy stowing
Noise cancellation creates audible hiss; Not for those seeking booming bass
I bought these after borrowing a pair for a recent international flight. Prior to this flight, I was all about Bose NC headphones. These headphones are so much more comfortable and the sound cannot be touched by Bose. They have great NC, although admittedly the Bose NC is probably better.
Can feel snug for the first couple times; Once broken in, they are extremely comfortable
"These are excellent headphones. The noise cancelling works very well, is efficient (only requires a charge about once a week on my regular usage) and is built into the cans rather than being a separate unit, which makes them very convenient for commuting.
Excellent sound quality and noise cancelling No in-line volume control
