AKG N60 NC

If noise cancellation is your top priority, the aforementioned Bose QuietComfort 20 is still your best bet. There are other headphones with solid audio performance and decent noise cancellation, such as the Plantronics BackBeat Pro , the Samsung Level Over , and the Sennheiser Momentum Wireless ,...

Powerful, balanced audio performance; Solid noise cancellation; Can be used passively; Includes removable cable; Comfortable design that folds down for easy stowing

Noise cancellation creates audible hiss; Not for those seeking booming bass

Awesome headphones!

I bought these after borrowing a pair for a recent international flight. Prior to this flight, I was all about Bose NC headphones. These headphones are so much more comfortable and the sound cannot be touched by Bose. They have great NC, although admittedly the Bose NC is probably better.

Can feel snug for the first couple times; Once broken in, they are extremely comfortable

These are excellent headphones. The noise cancelling works very well

"These are excellent headphones. The noise cancelling works very well, is efficient (only requires a charge about once a week on my regular usage) and is built into the cans rather than being a separate unit, which makes them very convenient for commuting.

Internal microphone really bad

It's impossible to use these as a headset in bluetooth mode. No one can hear me over the phone or when paired with my Mac in bluetooth mode. The wired connection works, but wireless is useless.

AKG N60 NC Review

Bose may have a stranglehold on the noise-canceling headphone realm, but that status has always been based primarily on its noise-cancellation circuitry, and not necessarily the audio performance of its headphone models. That leaves a niche for certain manufacturers to step in and carve out a space, which is what AKG continues to do with the N60 NC. At $249.95, the N60 NC are beautifully designed, travel-friendly on-ear headphones that deliver high-quality audio performance and solid noise cancellation. Do they offer more bang for your buck than Bose? That depends on where you rank noise cancellation on your priority list, but the N60 NC are definitely worth your consideration. DesignThe N60 NC ($174.85 at Amazon) are designed for travel. Thus, the lightweight, comfortable supra-aural (on-ear) design can be folded down into an extremely compact, easily packable carrying pouch, and the headphones themselves can also be used strictly in noise-canceling mode, but also in passive, wi...

The AKG N60 NC headphones deliver balanced, laudable audio performance and solid noise cancellation in a travel-friendly design.

AKG N60 NC Wireless Review

As more and more wireless headphones come equipped with noise cancellation, an update to AKG's wired N60 NC seems inevitable. The $299.95 AKG N60 NC Wireless headphones mix Bluetooth audio with the excellent sound quality and solid noise cancellation of their wired counterpart. If noise cancellation is your top priority, Bose still holds an edge with its QuietComfort line. If music is more important, however, these might just be the headphones for you. Design The supra-aural (on-ear) N60 NC Wireless ($99.95 at Amazon UK) headphones look quite similar to the wired model, with plush black leather earpads and a well-cushioned headband. The fit is lightweight and quite secure, despite the headphones exerting very little noticeable tension on the ears or scalp. AKG also makes it possible to get a precise ear-to-ear fit by using the headband adjustor's detents and numbers to match up both sides. The right earcup houses the various controls. A central rocker-style button controls playba...

The AKG N60 NC Wireless headphones deliver strong noise cancellation and wonderful Bluetooth audio in a comfortable design.

After quietly returning to the consumer space via a pack-in with the Samsung's Galaxy S8, S8+ and Note 8 smartphones, the Harmon Kardon-backed audio brand AKG is now moving to position itself as a solid alternative to the Sonys and Sennheisers of the lifestyle audio world.

Very comfortable to wear; Battery life a little below par

Noise-cancelling could be better; No built-in mic

AKG N60 NC Review – Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones

If you're looking for on-ear wireless headphones, but you have to have noise cancelling technology, the AKG N60 NCs are a solid option. While they are pricey at $300 MSRP, we have seen discounts on them and Amazon regularly goes well below full retail with the N60s, so just keep that in mind before...

Good noise cancellation technology; Love that they are completely wireless - you can also use as wired headphones; Great for travel and office use; Really good battery life at ~14 hours on a single charge

Eventually fatigue your ears, as do any on-ear headphones, Little bass; Higher volumes get distorted; Not amazing audio quality, Cannot use as regular bluetooth headphones with noise cancelling turned off
