Exceptional soung quality, great to wear for hours

An exceptional product with optimum price. Great sound quality and ease to wear. I've been using the product as part of my practice rig and makes practice an enjoyable experience with crisp, well balanced sound. It is very comfortable, they dont squeeze too tight or feel too heavy.

Not too Shabby

I bought headphones to take a 14 hour plane ride back to home. I used panasonic noise cancelling before and thought this may be a good step up. Out of the box, I wasn't very impressed but once on my ear! Wow! definitely great soundstage reproduction.
Pros:
  • Clear Sound
  • Powerful

AKG K99 Headphones

*note the one I have are the new perceptions not the old ones, not sure if there's a difference other than a logo change* These cans are pretty under the radar, but if you can get them for a cheap price (I paid 50 bucks CAD for these) and you have an amp or a good dac, then they may surprise you.
Pros:
  • Very light and insubstantial
  • Neutral, textured exiciting sound
  • Loud without amp
  • Good detail, soundstage and imaging for the price
  • Minimal design
Cons:
  • tonality is a bit off
  • leakage
  • needs amp/good dac to get good sound
  • ear cups hard and uncomfortable

alright but not professional

Nothing special. Kindof a "tin can" sound. not very full at all. okay for regular use but if your going for professional sound its worth it to save up the money and upgrade. I usually like AKG but was dissapointed with this one.
Pros:
  • Comfortable
  • Lightweight
Cons:
  • Flimsy Construction
  • Poor Sound
