I use it everyday for mixing and also watching movies. It's been a great sound always, crisp and clear with lots of details I cannot hear on other headphones. Only problem is that having it for a lot of time starts to feel on top of my head cause the leather has some small balls.

A solid pair of cans for music production and mixing
In my very subjective opinion, the k702s are great studio headphones for the price.
Pros:
- -Durable
- -Great sound: Natural
- revealing
- and detailed sound
- -Great spatial sonic field
- -Detachable cable is always a plus for me
- -I got these for under $300
- so pretty good deal compared to other headphone of comparable quality
Cons:
- -Kind of "fugly" and Bulky (if you care bout that
- -Poor isolation & leak noise
- not the best to use in public
- but that's not what they're made for
- -Sort of inefficient as far as power
- you'll need to drive these harder than other headphones

AKG K702 65th Anniversary Edition
Unless I have around $500 just for buying a pair of headphone, I don't think I will be giving these up. If you can find these at around $300 or the K712 for a little bit more than $300, it is definitely worth considering, but if you wanted something warm and bassy with great sound resolution, I...
Pros:
- Detailed
- natural sound
- good soundstage
- very comfortable
Cons:
- A little loose fitting..
- can't think of anything else

AKG K702 Review
The AKG K702 are completely neutral open-back reference headphones designed for professional mixing and mastering. They don't emphasize anything. Everything is exactly as it is on your recording.

A very nice product
3 months of use exclusively on my kronos. I have not tried other models because that's what I wanted headphones after reading all the articles and opinions about this product.

AKG K702 65th Anniversary Edition Headphones
To celebrate its 65th anniversary, Viennese manufacturer AKG introduced two limited-edition versions of older products: the C451 condenser microphone and K702 headphones. In this review I will focus on the new K702 65th Anniversary Edition headphones (K702-65).

AKG K702
Excellent sound quality. Experts say the AKG K702 headphones offer some of the most detailed sound among under-$1,000 headphones. Some feel the Sennheiser HD 650 headphones have a slight edge in the low end, while others argue that the AKG K702s are unmatched by even more expensive headphones.
Pros:
- Excellent overall music quality
- Build and design quality
- Works well with low-power devices
Cons:
- Bulky
- Expensive
- No carrying case

Pristine Headphones
I'm on my second pair of these headphones. First pair still works really well but there is a slight distortion out from the left phone when volume is loud. I do loud quite a bit so that was a problem. They worked flawlessly though for 2 years.

AKG K702
In addition to the quality levels of workmanship and eye-catching aesthetics, the AKG K702 really convinces with its wearing comfort and pleasant handling properties. Last but not least, the crystal-clear sound will make it hard for studio users and hi-fi fans to switch to another model once they've...
