Sounds great on vocals
Great sound on vocals, if only that on/off switch was recessed like the SM58, this would be the perfect mic. It's a pain to turn on/off.

The AKG k240 Studio headphones are nothing if not phenomenal overachievers. They manage to be good in the studio, as well as in the home, and do so in a way that is effortless and refined.

Akg K 240 wired headphone.
A big boy in headphones. Good sound, good channel seperation, comfortable to wear. Flexible and yet very strong reliable construction. Very good value for the price I paid at Amazon UK. I am delighted to have acquired it and I hope others do too.

Great headphones all-around, solid construction!
Note: this review will be a bit oriented as a comparison with the AD700 considering that it is a reference in its class and that is the only other decent headphones I've owned.

AKG K240 Studio review
The visual quailty is really good. It has a good strong construction. The sound quailty is amazing, the highs and mid/bass is astonishing now the low end is just there unless you use an headphone amplifier then it is all in your face with superior sound quailty.

" Warm sounding "
The AKG K 240 Studio headphones have been a part of my set up for 2 years now and they are still going strong. I have not had any problems with them from the day that I purchased them and they have been a joy to work with.

Makes me love music more.
The ear pads, though you can change them, start cracking with more use. The best pair of cans I've ever had. I love these headphones. I received them as a gift, so the average cost of around $100 did not really factor into this review, but cost aside, these headphones, I believe, are extremely worth...

Nice, but not exceptional
The look nice, the cord has a dual 3.5mm/.250" jack with a nice gold-plated threaded adapter (best setup I've seen yet for this) and a mini-XLR on the left can only. Comfortable, even on my big head. They don't quite look "pro"--maybe low-end pro.
Pros:
- Good
- even
- complete sound at very good price
Cons:
- Audiophile Grade "B" at best
- appear to be made OK
- but not exceptionally well
