Very pleased with the Emblaser 2, no assembly required used straight from the box. The software that comes with it is very easy to use also. It does need to be on a solid work platform as it vibrates quite a bit, something thats easily fixed. The few jobs that I have done to date are far better than my previous cheap chinese diode lasers. Great machine fully recommended don't waste money on the chinese diode lasers you won't regret it. I've now had it 3 weeks, and was an excellent deal. Love the built in safety features, again something not available on low end diode lasers.

The wifey was wanting a Laser machine to do some craft and hobby and gift stuff for family and friends. While this does have a capability to do a lot of different projects it is extremely limited just by the fact that this is a Diode Laser system which essentially means that this is a low powered and slow system. For someone not wanting to wait an hour + between jobs/projects I would recommend looking into a CO2 based laser system but be careful of the Chinese imports as they have a multitude of variants that may not necessarily be what you are expecting to buy. I've had the Emblaser 2 for about 3weeks now. I have it very easy and fun to use. It's my first laser cutter and engraver and it's doing everything I want it to do.

A great safe little Laser, ideal for engraving; can also cut thin ply and mdf with several passes. Happy with its performance. Be careful with the FCC (flat cable between Laser head and Circuit boards can be damaged easily if it gets twisted or kinks. Had it now for 16mths and it has worked well for me.
