1-2-3-4, I declare a dumb (but fun) war.

1-2-Switch , by its very nature, lacks depth. A collection of 28 minigames brings with it broad appeal in its variety--activities include shooting cowboys, strumming an air guitar, cradling a baby to sleep, and more--but little in the way of long-lasting fun or replay value.

Shows off the Joy-Cons' capabilities well; Wide variety of the types of activities on offer; from sports to duels to baby-cradling; Some minigames are genuinely hilarious--especially the dirty ones; Introducing new people to 1-2-Switch never gets old

Playing 1-2-Switch with the same people does get old; and fast; Almost all its minigames lack depth; And many of them lack enough feedback to be satisfying when you win

Honestly, I'm still puzzled as to why this isn't a pack-in game. We've heard it all before, but unlike Wii Sports and Nintendo Land before it, 1-2-Switch has even less in the way of traditional gameplay.

Good variety of games; Great to demonstrate the JoyCon features

Pointless solo; Not a pack in game?; Expensive for what it is

The Switch Gets Its System Soiler

Concept: "The bosses say we need to launch the Switch with more than Zelda, and it needs to be done ASAP!" Graphics: The actors in the video tutorials are just as annoying as you are while playing the game, so in that sense, 1-2-Switch's visuals are incredibly realistic Sound: 1-2-Switch's simple...

1-2-Switch Review

is the Switch's version of Wii Sports, in that it acts as an overall mission statement for the console itself. The quirky, bizarre nature of the unique mini-games make it a funny, memorable experience, but some games are hard to play at first due to unclear tutorials and dialogue cues.

1-2-Switch review

1-2-Switch is at its least effective when you have to rearrange the hardware in order to play a specific game. For example, in Hold the Baby, you need to attach the controllers to the Switch, a process that takes a good 30 seconds. Likewise, in Telephone, you have to remove the Joy-Con strap.

1-2-Switch does a great job of showing off the unique feature set of the Switch and its Joy-Con controllers, but it's seriously lacking in long-term appeal. When played with a group of friends or family members it's a proper hoot, and has the same social gaming appeal that made Wii Sports a living...

1-2-Switch

Just as we wrote in our review of Nintendo's new console, 1-2-Switch is the packed-in game that the system is sorely missing at launch. The way that the various mini-games contained herein show off the true potential of the Switch is impressive, and the broad range of features built into the...

1-2 Switch –

It's like a rule with Nintendo systems that there's gotta be one game that just takes advantage of every single little feature of a console and it's controller. 1-2 Switch is that game for, you guessed it, the Nintendo Switch.

1-2 Switch Review – It's No Wii Sports

It wouldn't be a new hardware release from Nintendo without some weird-ass game to showcase whatever nifty innovations Nintendo has packed into their controllers. The Nintendo Switch launch follows in that tradition by delivering the unique launch title 1-2 Switch .

Good showcase for Joy-Cons; Some intuitive and interesting mechanics

The fun doesn't last long; Not all mini games are worth playing; Frustrating accessory swapping

1-2-$30 overpriced

Has some high points, but soon gave way to glaring faults. Not the worst game, but is difficult to recommend.
