Makes great use of the Switch's innovative hardware; great fun at a party
Only fun for a couple of hours; should've been bundled with the console

There are a lot of fun ideas, and the general concept of a portable party game works well, but there are just too few mini-games and too little reason to keep playing them.
A unique concept that could only work with the Switch; Instantly accessible for even non-gamers and some of the uses of the Joy-Con are inspired
Too few games, some of which aren't much fun; The reliance on sound is a flawed concept, and there's absolutely nothing to do for the single-player
This game could've had a lot more but all and all this game does give you some interesting experiences. I've played it with multiple people and it's different every time. Overall, this is a great game to show people how the switch works.
the game is fine if you are two players only, but its when you have a group of people around, it becomes really fun
Given the Nintendo Switch is attempting to straddle the line between casual and core gaming, 1-2 Switch is a necessary launch title. While console veterans will likely be more than happy to plonk down their cash for The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild and play it for months until more titles...
Take the plunge if you are a relatively well off San Francisco based copywriter with a large group of friends who gather often, but don't expect an experience anywhere close to Wii Sports.
+ Some technically impressive mini-games; + Lots of fun in the right setting; + Unique use of audio over visuals; + HD rumble is THAT good; + Joy-Cons are wonderfully flexible
- No longevity; - Some mini-games are terrible; - Waggle-fest returns in places; - No save file; - Embarrassingly overpriced
Good for one evening of outlandish fun, but not one you'll come back to.
First things first: this is a party game, with no single-player option; therefore, give your friends a call, order some pizzas… and tell those cheapskates to pay for them - you are the one who paid for a brand new Nintendo Switch, after all! Ready? Cool.
The Nintendo Switch does not have the best launch lineup to date, but the console did launch with its own mandatory version of Wii Sports, or Playroom VR. 1-2-Switch is, in theory, a collection of tech demos to showcase the hardware's awesome features.
When a gaming console launches, especially one with unique input methods, there’s invariably a title meant to demo the tech on hand. Consider the Wii’s launch, and you should instantly think of the lightning-in-a-bottle that was Wii Sports .
