1-2-Switch is a disappointing title from Nintendo. Nintendo has pushed out impressive party titles in the past like Nintendo Land and the Mario Party series on the Nintendo 64 and GameCube, but this game just lacks fun and variety altogether.
Given the Nintendo Switch is attempting to straddle the line between casual and core gaming, 1-2 Switch is a necessary launch title. While console veterans will likely be more than happy to plonk down their cash for The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild and play it for months until more titles...
The Nintendo Switch does not have the best launch lineup to date, but the console did launch with its own mandatory version of Wii Sports, or Playroom VR. 1-2-Switch is, in theory, a collection of tech demos to showcase the hardware's awesome features.
Nintendo has a history of showing off their newly launched hardware with a game that can best represent what it's capable of. Wii Sports on the Wii was unquestionably the biggest hit for the big N, and since then they've tried just about anything to match that success story.
Ball Count really shows off HD Rumble | You get a workout with some games
All a bunch of tech demos | Each game is over in a minute | Should be free
And those are all the games in 1-2-Switch. Let me know what you think? Is the game worth it? Any favorite mini-games? Let me know in the comments section! Later! –Cary
Just as we wrote in our review of Nintendo's new console, 1-2-Switch is the packed-in game that the system is sorely missing at launch. The way that the various mini-games contained herein show off the true potential of the Switch is impressive, and the broad range of features built into the...
Good game to play among people young or old. At the start only a few games are playable but all of them will soon be unlocked. Team mode also available. A good buy that utilizes the motion controllers.
Good for one evening of outlandish fun, but not one you'll come back to.
1-2 Switch feels to be spiritual successor to Wii Sports with a hint of Wario's quirkiness added to the mix. The mini-games are bizarre, funny, and memorable but some games leave you hanging due to lack of proper instructions.
Good launch title; Good party game; Variety of games
Multiplayer only; Some games lack proper instruction
