iPhone SE 64GB

iPhone SE is a 4-inch phone unveiled by Apple on the 21st of March 2016. It's the first 4-inch produced by Apple since the launch of iPhone 5S in 2013.

The target group is users that prefer a compact and non-bulky phone with top features. Apple wants to ensure that existing iPhone 5S users don't switch to another brand when upgrading their phones. Hence, an upgraded 4-inch phone makes a lot of sense from this perspective.

The look of iPhone SE is almost identical to that of iPhone 5S in terms of form and look-and-feel. However, the four colours are the same as for the iPhone 6s.

The specs are impressive. The A9 processor powering the iPhone SE is 70% faster than the older A8 processor. The graphics processor (GPU) is 90% faster. In fact, Apple claims that graphics performance has been boosted three times compared to iPhone 5S.

The camera matches the performance of iPhone 6s and 6s plus. It's capable of recording in 4K at a 30 fps rate. The resolution of the camera is 12 MP. The Retina flash enables the front camera to take bright selfie shots.

The battery life has been vastly improved over iPhone 5S. Communication is also faster with network supported up til 433 Mbps. Wifi calling is also supported.

The iPhone SE is available with two storage options: 16GB and 64GB.

Apple iPhone SE review: Small but not?weak

Apple iPhone SE launches in India on April 8 at a price of Rs 39,000. Here's our review for this 4-inch iPhone.

The best feature of this phone has to be its size; There are lot of people who struggle with large phones, and find no viable alternative given that smaller phones are now becoming really rare.

Reminiscence

Apple didn't come up with a new design for the smaller iPhone SE. Instead, they've reused the old iPhone 5s with new internals. It's an odd move, which we witness for the first time - it's like reusing the same looks of a phone model third generation in a row.

Apple iPhone SE review

The iPhone SE may be small, but it's proved to be one of Apple's most powerful handsets. The 4in screen will be too big a down-size for many, but those in the market for a pint-sized, affordable smartphone will struggle to find anything better.

Great performance; premium design; latest version of iOS; decent display; surprisingly good battery life; market-leading camera

Poor front-facing camera; 16GB storage option

Apple iPhone?SE

Fans of smaller smartphones and refugees from the iPhone 4, 4S, 5 and 5S models who could never consider a larger phone, now have somewhere to land with the iPhone SE. This smaller iPhone has the same power, performance and camera capabilities as the larger iPhone 6 based devices that have ruled the...

Apple iPhone SE

If you want a powerful small smartphone, the iPhone SE is by far your best choice. It is both smaller and faster than its viable Android competitors, the 4.7-inch Alcatel One Touch Idol 3 4.7 and the 5-inch HTC One A9 .

Fast; Very good battery life; Easy to use with a single hand

Low-res front-facing camera; Lacks the latest Wi-Fi capabilities

Apple iPhone SE

Apple's iPhone SE isn't initially impressive. As a hodgepodge of other iPhones without any new technology, it's hard to get too excited about it. Our thoughts leading up to the announcement were generally that this new iPhone would be a great iPhone for late upgraders.

A smaller, lighter iPhone; Reasonably priced; Users with smaller hands should find it easy to use; Familiar 5s design is still an attractive winner; Upgraded internals (A9, M9, 2GB of RAM) allow phone to leap past the iPhone 5s and compete with the iPhone 6/6 Plus - it's faster than you might...

Smaller phone means smaller display; Not introducing any new technology; No 128GB option, and we wouldn't recommend the base 16GB option to anyone at this point; No 3D Touch; Outdated FaceTime camera; Onscreen keyboard harder to use for those with larger hands; Slower Touch ID.

Apple iPhone SE review

An iPhone with no number in its model name? That'll be the new iPhone SE , which ditches the number 5 but retains everything that iPhone 5 and 5S owners loved about their 4in phones - and upgrades all the bits which are out of date.
