I've used this lovely perfume for many years and it's still my favourite. It's light but long lasting, a very pleasant fragrance, not too floral. Loads of people comment on how nice it smells and very importantly it's one of the few that doesn't give me a headache or blocked nose.

"YSL Rive gauche is unique" Its lovely and refreshing...Lasts all day on skin... Not overpowering, distinctive in the best possible way.The container is so light and well designed you can carry it anywhere, in your handbag,pack it in your suitcase. I'd recommend it to anyone!

Really pleased, this is the only perfume my wife wears and this is the cheapest I could find it on the internet and saving postage by collecting locally.

I have enjoyed Rive Gauche for years and without fail, always receive compliments. Just this past weekend, after a long day and meeting friends in the evening, a gentleman I had just met said, 'Oh, you smell good!' Enough said. I love this and hope they'll never stop making it!

I bought it because a friend had it on and it smelled so good. I like it very much and I wear it all the time I t compares very well to other perfumes

I started wearing rive gauche in the 70s and continued thru the 80s. It's my favorite fragrance. It became hard to find so I stopped wearing it. Now I wish I hadn't tried it again. YSL must have changed something in the formula. It's not the same. Please change it back. I would buy it in bulk!

I wore this in the 80s. Some girl asked what it was and then she bought some and doused herself in it. It was so overpowering that I had to stop. Then it just stopped being available. I was THRILLED to find it here and adore wearing it again.

To write a glowing review of this perfume would still not do it justice. This is the art of perfumery at one of its highest levels, and it reeks of quality. The muskiest and sexiest perfume that has probably ever existed, this is well worth whatever price the shops are putting to it nowadays.
