Works well. Not the fastest but OK for what it is. Picky on 128 SD cards so be prepared to do some tests on what cadrs work. Other than that. Pretty nice unit.

Straightforward to use once inctructions downloaded from WD website. Access to images by smart devices makes this far more useful than conventional external hard drive.
Smartphones and tablets have certainly gotten more and more capacious in the last twelve months: Apple's got an iPad with 256GB of space, and SanDisk's 200GB microSD card similarly upped the ante for Android.
I bought this as a memory card backup device for a trip to the Galapagos. It worked fine at home. But when I got to Ecuador, the Wireless Pro stopped any detectable wireless communication. I tried backing up my SD cards, but could not see if they had been copied to the hard drive.

Great Item for portable data and to use with ipad and iphone and also Backup photos
