Bought 2 of these (Raid 1 array) installed in minutes,.. didn't expect anything special,... but then I started transferring files and WOW!! these are as fast as my VelociRaptor 10,000 rpm drives!! read and write speeds are incredible!

This hard drive is easily in the top 3 7200rpm drives available right now. Of course, it doesn't even come close to a half decent SSD, but the performance you get out of this is unbeatable.

JR.com has the best price on the 2tb caviar black edition drive. It was advertised as 32mb cache model WD20000LSRTL. I googled that and found nothing. So I crossed my fingers hoping that they would ship me the 64mb cache version, and to my suprise, they did!
