H.A.W.X. 2 is somewhat fun at its core but is an entirely forgettable experience. Some parts are frustrating and those end up being your strongest memories instead of what it really is, a decent but mediocre arcade flyer.

Calling Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2 a flight simulator would be a lie. Yes, it has realistically recreated aircraft that the player steers through the air above accurately modeled landscapes. Yes, you get to enter into air-to-air combat and air-to-ground combat. But this is no simulator.

" H.A.W.X. 2 " is a big improvement over its predecessor in so many ways. The campaign and story are better, the P.E.C. system works well, and from up high, it looks simply gorgeous.

When Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. arrived on the scene in March 2009, it was met with mixed reaction. While some praised the game's storyline and co-op gameplay, many cited concern with game's visuals, framerate drops, and lack of multiplayer.

HAWX two does some things very well. The AI aircraft in the single player campaign are much smarter than in the first incarnation of the game. Dipping and diving and trying to lock on to enemy aircraft is the heart of HAWX two.
