The Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 lens has some edge sharpness issues, but is an overall solid performer, especially when paired with an APS-C SLR.

The Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 is a very good lens. For the money, it's a great lens. It's very sharp throughout its range, has effective image stabilization, quick autofocus, and is relatively light and handholdable for a lens of its focal length.

purchased this unit in good faith, having been reassured by Amazon.ca that the unit was able to register for Tamron Warranty Registration, well it CAN NOT, this is a "gray marketed" unit,,, "Centre Drone" is not an authorized dealer of Tamron products.

The focal length range of this lens makes it most suitable for sports and wildlife photographers and birders, in particular, will find its fast autofocusing and effective stabilisation advantageous if they are looking for a long lens that can be used hand-held.

Still testing it but it looks great so far. I am happy with the reach and bouquet. Heavy, but not much. Good construction. I like that it comes with the tripod collar.
