5 Port TP-Link TL-SG1005D - Just plug it in & it works.

It does exactly what I wanted...allows more than one 'PC' to access the internet [without the need/problems of a wireless connection] either sepatately or at the same time. Just plug in the Modem's cable and the PCs' cables [in any of the ethernet sockets] and it knows what's what and works fine.

Would totally recommend had no issues and reasonably priced.

Set up within 30 seconds! Plug power in, plug the Ethernet thats connected to the home network (LAN) and then plug up to 4 devices that you want to connect to your network. Very easy with no setup needed. Would totally recommend as I have had no issues at all!

Simple easy switch

I mainly bought it for just the gigabit network and works like a charm. Got two of them hooked up which are connected by CAT5 50meter cable and it works off the bat when first connected.

+ 5 Ethernet ports + Gigabit network + Unmanaged (no programing needed + Compact size + Light weight + Wall mountable (has hole hooks; no accessory needed

- No added Ethernet cable (Just switch, power adapter, manual and package - No extra accessories (Maybe you need need wall mount stand or hook; or vertical stand mount - Lack of paper manuals ( - Unmanaged eliminates software/firmware accesses to diagnostics/troubleshooting

TP-Link TL-SG1005D 5-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Switch

Does what it says on the box, nice compact size, attractive design. As usual, PB Tech were very quick in sending this item to me.

Great Product

This switch delivers. It is speedy and servers my purpose very well. And you can not beat the price. I may just buy another, just in case the need arises.

What can I say except: Basic Gigabit Switch

I've not used it extensively, but the general idea of these things is that "they make them cheap enough, so just buy another one when the last one dies for as 'cheap' as you can find it. This, is that. I had a 5-port switch running for some low priority server duty... Well, that died.

This switch is a simple, fast, reliable, solution. Function and features are as good as any and the low price makes it a great value.

I would have thought it would have included a LAN cable to connect it to the wall socket, a bit inconvenient as we had to stop what we were doing and go out and buy one,.

I have a Home Theatre with several devices that have ethernet or WiFi: a smart TV, Home Theatre receiver, Blu ray player, and I also put the VoIP phone back there too. For a while I had tried to stream over Wifi but because my router is in the basement it was certainly not stagger free streaming.

Small, very reliable and durable, unassuming, and works perfectly; Gigabit speed, has exactly the right number of ports for my use
