Simplified her life

My brother had me order this for his girlfriend. She just needed a basic recorder for making notations when she didn't have time or couldn't write them down. She is thrilled with it. It does not have all the features of the more expensive models, but it has more than she'll ever use.

The device is fine; The sound etc works

It wasn't exactly what I expected, you cant charge it as the device uses batteries; I wouldn't say the instructions are the best either as I don't know how to store a recording or save it onto my laptop; I'm not a technical person but usually don't have issues using basic things like this.

No download capability

Works fine and easy to use. I overlooked the fact that you cannot interact with the unit through a USB connection to a computer. My fault, but makes the unit essentially useless for me.

Great recorder

This has very good sound quality. Easy to use. It is just what I needed to record for our Historians group, work and to take notes. The sound was great even after doing a playback/record to my phone so I could email it to friends.

Great, simple voice recorder

This handy little device is only mono in that it only has one mic & one speaker. Plug a stereo signal into the mic jack, set it to SHQ recording mode, and it DOES record in stereo. I knew this recorder was available for about 2 years before I bought it.
