A very Good game

As with any other game that you are on the fence, I did some homework. I read some reviews and watched some video game play reviews. Since new egg has this game on sale for $25, I took advantage of the event and I am glad i did.

Very Fluid game

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor by Warner Bros. Interactive for PlayStation 4

Its so much fun and its not one of those games that you can finish in literally 6 hours, the combat system brings this game to the next level

Amazing game

Amazing

The game starts kinda slow, at first it actually reminder me of red road redemption, but then it started getting ready intense as you begin to control the order of the Orks

Shadow of War, The War for the Heart of Mordor

So I just beat Shadow of War's main story, and I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised by it's ending. SoW is a massive game and has plenty to do, whether you are tackling story missions, side quests, looking for collectibles, or just having fun with the Nemesis System.

They added good stuff and took away good stuff.

Overall it plays out just like the first one some cool extras and encounters. Same fighting, little more character building. Differences I don't like are the elf shots, you can no longer upgrade how many arrows you can hold kinda depends on the bow and that's about 4-8 arrows you can hold.

Absolutely Fabulous game!!!

Here is a game to play for challenge and entertainment WITHOUT illicit behavior or foul language! We highly suggest this game for purchase.

Gameplay mechanics and combat are finely polished and highly enjoyable. Monolith has managed to capture the LORT world perfectly and paired it with Batman AC like gameplay. This is a must play if you're a fan of either, but the game stands out on it's own regardless if the obvious influences those...

Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor review – an unexpected?triumph

A far better game than many would've imagined, not just in terms of its action and Lord of the Rings authenticity – but in bringing a genuinely new idea to gaming.

The Nemesis systems is a great concept that works extremely well for the most part; Solid action and stealth, with an enjoyably varied skill tree to unlock; Decent graphics

The nature of orcs and uruk-hai means repetition in the Nemesis system does set in before the end; Parkour and beat-riding aren't very good; Open world is fairly small

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor Review | Boromir Was Wrong

The Short Version: A fantastic start for what we hope will become a fresh Tolkien franchise. There are some solid (if not borrowed) foundations and the Nemesis surpasses our expectations by providing a fresh experience to enemy design.

Nemesis system adds unique personality to enemies; Can approach targets in multiple ways; High production values

Melee combat feels limited; First map is a little dull; Talion is super boring

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor

Shadow of Mordor is the best Lord of the Rings game for nearly a decade, though considering the competition, that isn't really saying much. More importantly, it's a whole lot better than you might expect.

Solid open-world gameplay; Challenging; counter-heavy combat; The brilliant nemesis system; Good use of the license

Mordor isn't known for scenic beauty; Getting overwhelmed can be frustrating
