I love these headphones as they are light and for the price sound quality is quite good. They're light and look ok, after getting used to I'm able to sit through a whole work day with HD 202 and I doesn't get uncomfortable.

Sennheiser Senstational Sense - HD 202 II

I was in the market to replace my Sennheiser's I have had for 20 odd years -they started crackling. I wanted to use the new pair for my traditional stereo and my i POD. I tried a few sets and did not want to spend a fortune.

versatile; good for cd and ipod; great value; comfortable

lead could be shorter

Sennheiser HD-Series HD202 II Headphone, 0, black

Product Overview - It is probably the best available headset for normal users (not DJ/RJs) . The sound is crisp and clear with comfortable headset . Having low impedance you wont need to force your player to give a db boost to the sound.

Sennheiser HD 202: Sounds like Heaven... on a very long leash :))

I am not an audiophile, but to be honest I'm not far off either. I've owned various brand headphones until now, and sooner rather than later I usually got disappointed. The sound was either "not quite there" or they just simply broke too soon, like my highly acclaimed Plantronics headset, which...

cannot fault these

great headphones. on my second pair now as wire detached from the first pair due to mishandling on my part. great bass response. I listen to all sorts of music and these handle them all very well.

Every review I've ever read of these states: "For the price, these can't be beat." And I agree, but "for the price" is a relevant caveat. Bass is pronounced, more so than my MDR-V6's, but is somewhat muddy, especially in the 125-500Hz range.

Sennheiser HD 202 review

For such a small outlay these headphones give out a very accurate and balanced sound, but we have doubts about their general build quality. We suspect that Sennheiser, pushed to create headphones at a certain price point, have cut back on comfort and strength in the interests of maintaining decent...

Superb detailed sound; Inexpensive; Long cable

Uncomfortable; Durability; Faux-leather

Great value heaphones

I bought a pair a year ago and they were the only headphones I've ever had to handle my abuse. They get pulled, sat on, and thrown around and still work perfectly. The long cord is great too so I can walk around my office. Amazing sound and quality for the price.

Great sound and clarity; They put out good highs and lows esp for the price; I need at least decent sound for me to listen to music, and these deliver even more

If you have a wider head; they can eventually(over many hrs of continual use) start to exert more than comfortable pressure on the sides of your head and your ears

Do not buy if you listen to music

The built is OK, pretty good. But you do not buy your headphones for the built - you want to listen to the music. And this is where the problem begins, the sound quality is simply not good at all. Compared to my ole Philips (bought for a third of the price!!!) this set is very dull.
