Samsung Galaxy S5 review

The Samsung Galaxy S5 can be defined by one word: evolution. The camera was evolved to give clearer, faster snaps. The fitness-tracking abilities of the S5 are enhanced over the Galaxy S4 by packing in a more powerful S Health app and a dedicated heart rate monitor on the rear.

Rs. 51499 The Galaxy S5 is Samsung's first water and dust proof smartphone, marking the start of an era for Samsung. Samsung is the leading smartphone maker of the world but its devices were always criticised for lack of innovations, sturdiness, and looks, especially in the high end segment.

Offers blazing fast performance; Boasts an intuitive Interface and useful apps; Has long battery life and huge Storage Facility

Camera found wanting in low lighting conditions; Look wise still looks the same old Samsung device; There's only a single SIM slot

S5 900 Looks good but cheaply made

Avoid this phone and it's new replacement, the S6 has the same weaknesses. Shame on Samsung for opting for glitz rather than quality of materials and engineering.

Decent camera; nice exterior appearance; expandable memory and replaceable battery

Cheap plastic case, very weak and prone to fail 3.0 charging port; Loaded with Samsung bloatware

Samsung S5

Arrived on time and is a great phone. Transfer of data went well and this is so fast compared to my last phone. Needs a bit of time to remove unwanted apps but hey ho. It's great.

speed and great screen

Too many Samsung apps

Samsung Galaxy S5 review

We called the Samsung Galaxy S4 a thing of beauty and the S5 is even better. It feels better, looks better and does more than its predecessor. S Health is a great addition and a genuine alternative to other fitness and health apps out there.

Updated design; Camera innovation; Cleaner UI

Too big for some; Slightly delicate; Unreliable sensors

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is an improvement on last year's model in almost every respect, although Samsung still needs to wean itself away from silly gimmicks. I'd hesitate to say that the Samsung Galaxy S5 has a genuinely attractive design - it's still quite plastic, despite the metallic rim - but it...

Long lasting battery life; Stellar camera abilities

Don't use it as a boom box; Still too much bloatware
