I bought this mouse a few years ago, back when the DPI maxed out at 5600, and I can happily say that I don't regret the buy at all.

Coming off a standard optical mouse, this issue is super. I can't think how precise the tracking is. The mouse arrow no longer jitters when moving slowly. The feel is superb, the wheel feels solid. If anything, the application does have a small finding out curve.

Like other posters, the left click turned into a double click after about 3-4 months of light usage. I expect much more for a $70 mouse. I've read online that this is a common problem with a few models of Razer mice. Luckily I got the in-store product replace plan!

saw it collect a recommended award for its innovative design, great feel and brilliant responsiveness. Nothing has changed, though, and The Imperator still has one of the coolest features we've seen on a mouse - adjustable thumb buttons.
